One of your entries can be submitted to be considered for the annual Florence Palmer Awards. Ms. Palmer was a poet and educator who lived and taught in Elgin for many years. The award winners receive $900 for first place, $400 for second place, and $200 for third place in the subjects of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and visual arts. The judges are comprised of a rotating group of ECC Faculty. 

The deadline for submitting work is December 31st 2024.
